On February 6, 2013, four of the top civic organizations in the United States released the Millennials Civic Health Index which looks comprehensively at they ways young Americans, between the ages of 18 and 29, are civically engaged. The study, jointly conducted by the National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC), the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at Tufts University, Harvard University’s Institute of Politics and Mobilize.org, challenges many preconceived notions about the young generation.
