Twitter is pretty cool for keeping up with all the great work being done in the Jewish service-learning field. But with so many people to follow, it’s easy to get lost! So we make a public list that includes only our grantee partners, and put up this CoverItLive widget so we can see what they are doing:
A few things become obvious fairly quickly. First, not everyone has a Twitter account. Second, of those who do not everyone is using it on a regular basis. Third, even those who use it every day might be doing very different things with it. I was hoping to discover tons of chatter specifically about Jewish service-learning, the same way that there is chatter about service-learning in general, or volunteer engagement best practices. What for RepairLabs on Twitter pushing in that direction.
As part of our efforts at field building, we’ll be checking in here from time to time to provoke/highlight/sustain some good tweet conversations. Enjoy!
